Licensing and Insurance
Any company applying pesticides in Georgia must hold a valid Georgia Department of Agriculture pesticide applicator license. Ask to see it. Also verify they carry general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. Unlicensed applicators risk fines for themselves and create liability issues for you as the homeowner. This is non-negotiable.
- Ask for their Georgia pesticide applicator license number.
- Verify general liability insurance coverage.
- Workers compensation protects you if someone is injured on your property.
